We know you need a little break after all that mind consumption so join us on a Brewery Tour of some of Vancouver’s finest Craft Breweries and imbibe in Vancouver’s local beers. Each brewery will welcome us with beer samplers, wise and friendly staff, and back stage tours to see how those tasty beers are made. Each tour is about 3 hours in comfy 14-seater passenger vans, with lots of room for growler purchases and all the water you can drink. In step with our resiliency theme, experience Vancouver’s vibrant craft beer community, locally made and contributing to Vancouver’s eat local, drink local economy. Rates are $75 USD per person and includes your very own beer glass to enjoy those local beers

With so much natural beauty and Vancouverites’ eagerness to bring back natural areas, the choice of restoration sites was limitless. We decided to provide as much variety as we could. This tour will take you from a North Shore estuary restoration to a downtown site at False Creek that even beavers call home. Lunch will be provided by Forage, the same local fare restaurant who provided the Gala dinner, and with bus transportation provided. On this all day excursion, you’ll meet Nick Cole Vancouver’s Park Staff, community advisors, river stewards, and students involved in the restoration projects.

Need a short break to visit one of Vancouver’s iconic sites?

Stanley Park is Vancouver’s internationally known urban park and for good reason. Surrounded by English Bay and Burrard Inlet its 300 plus acres are busting with wildlife and wonderful vistas. You’ll visit a bog restoration, check out the 10,000 or so surf scoters, and meet with Vancouver City Park staff to looking at ways to restore its shorelines and freshwater lakes including Lost Lagoon and Beaver Lake. Planned to be an enjoyable three-hour tour we’ll have an in-depth look at managing urban parks and talk to some local experts. Rates are $52 USD per person including lattes or coffee of course.
